Adobe Flash CS3

♠ Rakshith Mlore in ,,
To get right down to basics, there are many of you who may have never used Adobe Flash, or for that matter, any Adobe product before. This chapter will help you understand the interface, timelines, layers, guides, and more...

The Interface

When you first load Flash CS3, you will see the Welcome screen. This Welcome Screen (in Flash CS3) is slightly different from the Welcome screen of earlier versions of Flash, for example in, say, Flash 8. You can clearly see the difference in the pictures shown below and on the following pages:
Macromedia Flash 8Adobe Flash Professional CS3
The Welcome Screen of Flash 8                                The Welcome Screen of Flash CS3

The Workspace

The Workspace is the arrangement of various Flash-elements such as the Tools panel, Control panels, Property inspectors and Windows. We will walk you through what each of these is in later sections. You can change the workspace layout from the “Workspace” drop-down menu. There are three workspace layouts available to you in Flash CS3: Default, Icons and Text Default, and Icons Only Default. The same options can be seen from the Window menu as well: Window --> Workspace.

Getting Around Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended

♠ Rakshith Mlore in ,,
Adobe Photoshop’s interface is quite easy to use, and has become a model that nearly all image-editing programs follow—so even if you do switch to a different program, you aren’t going to be lost. The interface is organized into the top toolbar (called the Option Bar), and the many palettes at the sides. You can show or hide any of these palettes in the Window Menu.

The Photoshop Work  Area

Flowers Photoshop CS5

The Tools Palette

The Tools Palette (sometimes also called the ‘Toolbox’) is where all the Photoshop magic happens. Select a tool from here to perform the corresponding action on your image. Some tools have a black arrow at the bottom right corner—this means there are more tools in that category. Click and hold on the tool to bring up the full list of tools. Additional options for each tool will appear on the toolbar at the top.

What is Adobe Photoshop ??

♠ Rakshith Mlore in ,,

Existence Of Photoshop

John Knoll, who worked for Industrial Lightand Magic (ILM) at the time, envisioned the possibilities of computer-generated special effects, and decided to experiment with them himself, soliciting his brother Thomas help for his purposes. Together, they invested inan Apple Macintosh II—the first one that supported colour—and began building on an application John had started as a hobby : Display. One thing led to another, and as they added more and more features, Display became Photoshop 1.0, which was released in 1990 on a single floppy disk. While it was a big hit from the beginning itself.
Ps
The above image is the screenshot of the first Adobe Photoshop Floppy Disk which i got on the internet.

What does Photoshop Do ?

Photoshop fanatics will probably make convincing arguments about how Photoshop is so awesome it can even cure world hunger, but there’s probably still some time for that. What Photoshop is brilliant at is its original purpose—special effects. Using Photoshop, even the blandest image can be given a new lease on life. It doesn’t end there, though. With its extremely powerful image-editing tools, Photoshop can be used to correct eventhe most disastrous flaws in pictures—from red eyes in photographs to undesirable smears of colour. Image Ready, which comes bundled with Photoshop, offers a host of features you can use for Web graphics—creating animated GIFs, mouse roll-overs, and somevery aggressive compression tools that will ensure your images are the smallest possible size without compromising on their quality.

How To Make A No Follow Link in Blogger

Every link in your blog is not only seen by the readers but also by the search engines. When Google and other search engines crawl your blog they take note of each link and follow the link to it's source.Of course as your blog grows their will be hundreds and eventually thousands of links scattered through the archives. Having search engine bots follow links is helpful in most cases. If in your current post you link to a post in your archive you are not only sending readers to that post but also search engines. However many links on your blog lead to a dead end like Log in pages, Download links or links to bookmark posts on Digg or Stumble Upon.
Did you know you can add a small attribute to links on your blog telling Google and other search engines to not follow a link ? There are many Advantages and disadvantages of 'Do' and 'No' Follow tag.
This can also be added to links to sites you may be telling readers to avoid, you don't want to be sending search bots to these sites. The small attribute that we add to a link to tell Google not to follow it is called the 'No Follow' tag.
dofollow-nofollow-switch

How To Make Links No Follow

Below you can see the code used to make a regular hyperlink :

<a href="http://www.mybloggingtechniques.blogspot.com/">MBT Blog</a>

To make the link No Follow we simply add rel="nofollow" as shown below :
<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.mybloggingtechniques.blogspot.com/">MBT Blog</a>

It's that easy and the nofollow attribute can be added to links anywhere on your blog.

Note : While the nofollow attribute is useful and lets you be selective in who you give 'Link Juice' to don't over use it or start adding it to all outward links.

Did you know about no follow or have you used it before ?

♠ Rakshith Mlore in ,,,,
As we previously posted an article regarding the ‘Advantages and disadvantages of Do-Follow and No-Follow blogs’.
After reading all the points in our previous if you still want to switch your blog to Do-Follow in an simple and easy way.
dofollow-nofollow-switch

How to make your blogger blogs as ‘Do-Follow’

  • Login to Blogger Dashboard
  • Make a Backup Before you going to do anything
  • Go to Template (‘Design’ in old interface) –> Edit HTML.
  • Now find the line (Use Ctrl+F to find easily)
<a expr:href='data:comment.authorUrl' rel='nofollow'>
<data:comment.author/></a>

  • Just rename ’nofollow’ as ‘dofollow’ and save the template.

If you make your blog as ‘dofollow’ you have to make a heavy strain on moderating on comments. The problem is with the comments spamming. If you want to revert to old position you can do it by adding the content which we renamed earlier in the above code.

Do comment below if you have any doubts.

Advantages & Disadvantages Of Do Follow & No Follow blogs

♠ Rakshith Mlore in ,,,,
If you have a blog and want to make your blog do-follow then ask yourself, do you know the advantages and disadvantages of making do-follow and no-follow blog. Some bloggers suggest to make your blog do-follow and some suggest for no-follow.
dofollo-vs-nofollow-saimoom-shinemat
Do you know, what is Do-follow blog?
Do-follow blog is one which gives you a link which is followed by search engine spiders. You can get SEO friendly links from reputed blogs by commenting, if those blogs are do follow. Do-follow blogs are giving you link juice for the links in their comment section.
On the other hand, No-follow is totally opposite of do-follow. If you leave a comment with your link in no-follow blogs then your comment will not follow search engine robots. In short that’s all about do-follow and no-follow.

Advantages of Do-follow blogs

  • Do-follow blogs increase blog traffic.
  • You will get more comments for your posts.
  • Able to make backlinks for your blogs.
  • You blog will be getting popularity.
  • You will get requests from other blogs for link exchange.
  • Your blog’s page views will be increasing.

Disadvantages of Do-follow blogs

  • More comments mean a lot of spam comments.
  • Comment moderation will take huge time.
  • All outbound links will be taking place on link juice feature.
  • Many of your readers will post useless comments without reading your articles.

Advantages of No-follow blogs

  • Spam comments will not come to your blog. You will get only quality comments.
  • Real and after reading full article, only your interested readers will post comments.
  • Comment moderation time is so little.
  • Your comment links will not take place in your link juice section.
  • No-follow blogs free from attacking of spamming and black bots.
Because of quality comments and free from flood of links in comments your blog will not get banned by search engines.

Disadvantages of No-follow blogs

  • Search engine spider will not see your comment links.
  • Less number of total comments.
  • Many of your readers will not spread their comments because of no-follow attribute.
  • Your internal linking strategy might not work for SEO.
